As a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) in Delaware, I provide psychotherapy and medication management to individuals and groups experiencing eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety disorders, depression, and life transitions.
I am passionate about helping people find peace with food and their bodies. I firmly believe that full recovery is possible and attainable, and would be honored to join you on your journey toward recovery. I support Carolyn Costin's definition of full recovery, where a person can accept their body shape and size and no longer have a destructive relationship with food and exercise.
I have been working with individuals experiencing eating disorders and other mental health concerns since I became a registered nurse, which helped inspire me to become a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. As a nurse, I have worked at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on the Medical-Behavioral Unit, as well as at Monte Nido's Clementine Treatment Program for Adolescents. Additionally, I completed clinical trainings while in graduate school at COMHAR and the Drexel University Counseling Center.
I received my Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing (BSN) degree from Villanova University, and received my Master of Sciences in Nursing degree (MSN) from Drexel University. I am a board-certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC).
